Ready To Start

Ok I am ready to start my real estate investing career. I have found a foreclosed home. i plan on visiting it tomorrow to see how much work it needs done to it. after that i going to a hard money lender to barrow the money needed to purchase the property. Hope fully all goes well, and i can purchase the property fix it up sell it and make a profit. 

Is there any advise someone can offer me before i go forward with my plan?
