Thoughts on buying a portfolio of SFR's

Hi Everyone 

Not sure if this is the right forum but I wanted to see if anyone as any thoughts on buying a portfolio or many units at once. I have a possible deal if I decide to move forward with it. My thought was I would purchase it now by financing part and when I sell me business next year I would pay it all in full, or buy more.
