Can't find Comps on MLS

Please help this newbie RE investor on finding sold comps to a prospect property on the MLS. My search criteria are

- .5 miles from address

- 500 Sq Ft plus and minus of subject property (SP)

- Same style 1.5 story cape single/detach

- rolling past 9 mnths

and nothing showed up. What am I missing? I believe If I put more criterias (no. of bed and bath) it will not show anything.

How do you guy and gals comps (find AVR) on MLS?
