loophole around craigslist phone verification?

those dumbos thought making you verify a phone number would stop the robot spamming. how can a big business like that be that stupid?

thats almost like spending $1 billion dollars on a website that doesnt even work.

 but is there a way to get around the verification? i dont want to give them my number

So you want to use a website where you can post for free, get free marketing and a large built in audience, you don't get spam texted, called, etc.?

Sorry but to me, that is worth a phone line to get access to.  Craigslist is an amazing resource.
