What paint colors /granite/laminate are you using?

Question

I am doing a couple of flips and want to ask for some advice.  What are you using/seeing in terms of paint and granite?  Also, is anyone converting tub/showers to shower only?  How about laminate?  3 1/4" vs 5"?  Light/ dark/ medium?  I see a lot of chrome these days as opposed to brushed nickel.  I have also been seeing a lot of gray tones in paint.  It seems that beige is out(?).  I want to stay as neutral as I can.  I appreciate your input!

"Neutral" is relative. Many other colors besides whites, grays, and beiges can be considered neutral colors. I'd suggest that you visit model homes in your area and look at the colors they are using. Different regions of the country use varying colors. Places with a lot of clouds and rain probably don't use gray as often as it may look gloomy, even though gray is very popular right now.

I have used this one to very nice affect:

In large rooms with plenty of natural light, it comes off as a nice creamy and surprisingly neutral color.  Looks great with bright white trim.

In one kitchen, I had a weird colored backsplash I was trying not to clash with, making the color I just linked impossible to use.  So I used this:

And while I do think it is a good idea to use the same colors in all my units, I am occasionally impulsive and I did a kitchen with this color once, just because I liked it:

It's not as dark in the large, well-lit kitchen as it seems on my screen.
