Broke but determined

Hi all, as the title describes, I am determined to get involved with real estate investing but I have a serious lack of cash flow because I am a college student. I am almost done reading "the book on investing with no and low money down" and it has inspired me to get my career as an investor started. The book outlines several different ways in which to get started but I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice they could share on their start as a real estate investor. Some ideas on exactly how you may have gotten started would be a great help, thanks!
