How much is a survey in Texas and does the buyer usually pay for it?

Thank you!

@Jenny Seaborn

Cost varies greatly from area to area.  $250 to $1,000 for lot / block  has been my experience in the triangle (Houston - Austin - San Antonio)

Who pays is negotiable...but it is typically considered a buyer expense for residential conveyances.
