The Rules for Newbies

Ok, all. I'm hearing a lot about these different "rules" that people are applying, more or less stringently, too their deals - things like the 70% rule, or the 2% rule, and several others. I was going to get a thread started where we compile ALL of these rules, along with explanations of each of them, for those of us who are just getting started. So. What do you think?

howdy. @Glenn Mayo!   You could certainly do that, but all of that info is available from the search field.  Certainly nothing wrong with it, and I don't would be the last one to want to throw water on a burning fire from within, but the Ultimate Beginners Guide is a great start for folks.  If it's in your heart to do, then Do!  But, a valuable use of your time would also be to educate yourself, find the strategy you want to take, and go and do deals!

Either way, kudos for the idea, and there's no reason you couldn't start to assemble this I fo as you learn, then post it when complete.  Truthfully, it may already be on the site somewhere!

Cheers, and good luck!
