House in Medford, MA????

Hi all BP members and thanks for your input , my family members plan to sell the house. Should I upgraded from oil to gas, and renovated before put on the market? should I let someone listed or sell by owner?

@Tommy Dang I would not bother upgrading the heating system to sell. Medford is a very desirable area.  I do business in that area. If you need a referral to an agent feel free to shoot me a private message.

Gas prices are at record lows so you really do not need to switch if everything is in working condition. You can probably make a good profit right now selling the property as is. Medford properties are getting multiple offers and are selling for above asking price.

100% get a listing agent. I used Sue Kim at Remax by Medford Square. She was my buying agent and fought hard to get exactly what we wanted and made the process pretty smooth as I was a first time home buyer.

Regardless of the agent, try and get a local agent that knows the area so they can answer all the questions with the right response.
