Should I purchase property through a LLC or Personal Loan?

My Brother In Law and I are running through the preliminary numbers, questions, and research to develop a plan for purchasing and renting out investment properties. There has been some discussion as to purchasing properties under an LLC or personal financing plan. Does anyone have any suggestions and or comments related to this? What are the Pro's and Con's to each? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. -Kyle Sturman

in theory it would be ideal to buy through the LLC. However terms will not be the same for a personal loan vs a business/commercial loan, so what you want to do and what works financially don't always match up. The lender makes a big difference as well depending on what products they offer.
