Choosing a solo 401K provider

I am in the process of choosing a Solo 401K provider (for lack of a better term)  Costs range from $500 to $1500 for initial set up and $125 to $200 per year to maintain the account each year.  Has anyone experienced a significant increase in the on going yearly fees?  I am wondering if it is like signing up for cable TV and internet where after you are in they raise the price.  Also if you have one of the more expensive set ups that promise more hand holding did you use those resources that are offered?  Any feed back would be appreciated.

@Alan Sweeten, there are so many rules involved in these accounts - and ignorance of the law is no defense against non-compliance. More than price, you'll want to make sure the provider is experienced and knows the laws inside and out.
