BRRRR limis

I am purchasing 2 properties cash soon and want to hold on to them and sell them in the future. These are duplexes by the way that I will rent out. I want to do the BRRRR strategy, my question is what is the limit if any to the amount of times you can do this. I hear of people owning 50+ properties, but I have heard that there is a limit to the amount of loans you can have as well. Am i missing something here? I know that things have to go right and do your research and buy the right properties but for example if I buy 2 and refi both, hold them for future sale, buy another 2 and those work out and refi those, at what point does it end or can i keep going? Thanks
