According to RealtyTrac, flipping nationwide is back to 2006 levels (see video link below).

According to the RealtyTrac:

Top Markets for Flips:  Memphis (#1), Tampa, Miami, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Orlando, 

Biggest Flipping Profits:  Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New Orleans.

Interesting for the masses but not really much useful information for investors. Baltimore investors are complaining about how margins are dropping yet it was listed as one of the highest gross  margins.  My fear is this kind of reporting implies this business is much more profitable than it really is.
