8.8% in commission fees... crazy?

Is this a normal and/ or fair exclusive listing agmt: 6% to seller agent 2.8% to buyer agent That's nearly 9% gone off my sale and doesn't include other costs I won't sign because this doesn't seem correct Thoughts? Thx!

Are you sure the commission fee is a total of 8.8%?

Or could the 2.8% buyer agent fee be paid from the 6% seller agent fee?

8.8% seems excessive unless this is a sub $50k property.
