Finding Deals in Cleveland Suburbs

Hi There,

I am new to investing, having only one buy and hold property under my belt. My farm area consists of a few cities: Mentor, OH (44060) and Eastlake, OH (44095). Lately, I have been making offers and completely missing out on opportunities. There isn't too much inventory and the houses are going quickly making me think that I need to find an alternative to the MLS. I would love advice from anyone investing in this area using alternatives to the MLS.

Thanks!

Lindsay

@Lindsay Arko make sure to click on the drop down names when you '@' someone. They should show up in blue if it works. Understood on the bids, just keep trucking and you'll get one. Even with the market being tight, always remember to stick to your guns. I am looking for a 4 unit right now which are very scarce. I have been tempted with a couple that are further away or the numbers don't quite work, but in the long run sometimes the best deals that we do are the ones we don't :)
