Forming an LLC in Wisconsin

Has anyone ran into this problem and if so what did you do...

I am trying to set up an LLC for our rental in Wisconsin. The rental is in Wisconsin but we are not. When trying to set up the LLC the department of finance is requiring we have a "contact agent" and a "contact agent address" both of which need to be located in Wisconsin. I called them today too and they said you have to have someone with an address in the state.

Has anyone else ran into this problem and what did you do? Thanks.

Yes, no difference. LLC is a pass through entity for the IRS. Your CPA can explaain the details.
