Vinyl or laminate flooring for c class rental ?

Question

Recently, I had carpet in 1 of my units. I'm currently in a rental turnover and not sure which flooring I sure use. Either carpet again which I'm really don't , vinyl, or laminate flooring ? Any suggestions?

Vinyl.

If he can install ceramic tile he can install vinyl. The tile labor cost will be way more than vinyl.

Vinyl is so easy, you could install it if you had time.

Vinyl...looks and holds up better than carpet or laminate.

Your handyman makes way more and the material cost is way higher if you do ceramic, therefore, he wants you to do ceramic.  The suggestions on here to do it yourself is NOT my recommendation...never do $12-$15/hour jobs, I don't even change door knobs...my time is WAY more valuable.  If your handyman cannot do vinyl, find a real handyman because its super easy, its glue and press, simple!! A great handyman is worth his weight in gold.

Vinyl = no underlay, higher durability and easy repairs. Your handyman will figure it out in 5 minutes! I just did vinyl for the first time in my last flip without watching any videos, it was like putting magnets together and you only need an exacto knife to cut it. One of the tiles got a huge scratch on it so I just cut it out and glued a new one down in 5 minutes, if that happened with laminate floors I would be pulling off the baseboards, pulling up all the connected pieces etc. etc. hassle ensues.

yes YouTube, or do it yourself, it's super easy to install. Ceramic especially in a C class house would be my last choice.

Tell your handyman to look on youtube. no in all seriousness, the click and lock flooring that they have now is a snap to put down. A couple months ago I did a 4x8 bathroom in about 2 hours, that included pulling and resetting the toilet. If your handyman nows hou to do ceramic he will love vinel tiles.
