Sell me on YOUR Market
Hello, all.
I'm new to BP (first post!) and new to real estate investing. I've spent the better part of the last 12 months devouring information, and with that I have heard time and again that real estate is "local". I am currently looking for a market/sub-market outside of what I have here in Boca Raton, FL to do mid-size multi-family deals (15-50 units, C+ to B, value-add preferable, minimum 5 to 7 year hold). I have a background in IT, and can google with the best of 'em...but realize that I'll be missing a part of the picture. I can't travel to every MSA in the country, so I'm asking for your help to help narrow down that search. Do you know an area with what you consider all the makings of a perfect locale? Sell me on your market!
