Have a property that most likely will be a tear down. It's zoned as residential and its in a mix commercial and residential surrounding it. Not sure what we are gonna do with it yet but if it's a tear down rezoning it to commercial and reselling it could be better than rebuilding a home. What's the cost of rezoning from residential to commercial and do we do this before we bulldoze the home down? Not sure if you need a building/home on the lot before you rezone. We would be selling the land as commercial.

Absolutely impossible to estimate costs or probability of success.....exact location, exact proximity of adjacent commercial, local zoning reg., tendencies, could need an expensive land planner/firm, etc.
