Seller's leases
Hi
I am looking into a property and the seller has presented me with some leases, I am not sure if the tenants are paying rent. He is unwilling to show me actual checks deposits. Is there someone who has had similar experience or is aware if it something to be concerned about?

Hi, That's the way to do it Steve! Just say specify what you need to see to verify. Sellers have been know to actually pay a little more in taxes on a tax return just to sell a property! There is no law against overstating your income. Ask for income and expense verifications for the subkject property. Bill
