Kitchener - Waterloo, Ontario

Hi Everyone.

Kitchener/Waterloo is considered the "Silicon Valley of Canada" because it's a city with a strong tech background (Google, Blackberry, and plenty of tech startups) as well as the University of Waterloo.  I believe that we are in a  major, prolonged tech boom that will last many, many years and am interested in this market.

Wondering if there is anyone operating in the area that can shed some light on the market based on personal experience?

If you google search "cmhc rental housing market report kitchener" there should be a pdf. link that will provide you with extensive rental market information including vacancy rates, average market rents etc. It will also break down the K-W market into segments and provide information by area.
