I am new to real estate investing and do not have the cash to put down for hard money. It is for that reason that I decided to partner with someone who will fund the whole deal. However I am starting to get skeptical of him as he wants to directly transfer the funds to my bank instead doing it through the closing attorney. Also when I asked him for proof of funds so that I can use it to submit my offer, he said that I have to use my own. I'm new so I don't know whether I do have to find my own pre-qual or if he is the one that needs to provide it to me since he is the one funding the deal.
@Delsin Olmedo is he asking you for money upfront? Any money at all?
So far he hasn't no
@Delsin Olmedo let him put the funds in your account. Make sure you draw up a contract for the funds, or he probably will. Doesn't matter if you get it in your account. Just use that to send the money. Have him deposit it, so you have proof of the funds in your account
