Wholesale Properties in Albany, Ga

Hey everyone! The plan is to move the entire family sometime in Feb and start over in a more economic friendly area. But in the meantime, is anyone interested in purchasing some distressed property in the Albany, Ga area? I've got several great deals if anyone is interested. I've been told that most if not all the real estate attorneys won't do wholesale deals here in the local area. I am not so sure I believe that. So I'm not sure if I can get around this or if this is a huge problem. Can I do wholesale deals on local property without a local attorney or local title company? Obviously, it's not illegal so I'm just a little confused by why it would be an issue.

Point is, I have several properties that would be great flips and or rentals. Let me know guys!
