Starting a brokerage for sole use

Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and while I've come across a wealth of knowledge, I haven't pinpointed exactly what I'm looking for. If this has already been discussed, please forgive me.

Has anyone started their own brokerage, just for their own use? I am currently flipping two properties a year and doing deals for family and friends as they ask me to. I have a full time day job already and got my license years ago to mitigate the commissions I was paying out for my flips. I'm not looking to "sell" real estate full time, just trying to save money where I can.

I am not interested in starting a tangible office with agents. This would just be me working out of my home office as I do now, but not needing someone to hold my license and take a cut of my deals. Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks
