Hey BP land.. Over here in Thailand this week and a lot of the condo's are advertising 7% guaranteed return when you buy a condo good for 5 years... and the price points are pretty cool too in the 50k range..   Not to mention a super cool country.. great people food and weather.

Any one have the idea to snag one of these then semi retire over here ??? I know its a thing just wondering if any of you mover and shaker big time property owners would do that.

I was in Costa Rica a little while back and the price points there were quite a bit higher.. but of course its not forever to fly there either..

Since the boss is a high producing real estate agent in her own right the last thing she is going to let me do is break her away from shopping and the pool to go look at real estate.. :)

Anyone own anything over here....  ????   PS we are in Phuket this trip... and off to Singapore for 8 days after this.. now there is no 50k real estate in that city state...

Yeah, it's kind of one of the reasons why I think I need to leave the U.S. Health costs are so astronomical, that I'm scared that if I were to break my arm or leg I'd lose everything I've worked for .

I don't ever get sick, so I've not had health insurance since I stopped being employed. And starting at my age (56) would be thousands per month.  But I have to be realistic and see that once I'm in my 60's I'm bound to get something at some point and I think I need to be in a country that has more realistic medical costs.
