Overheard this on the latest podcast, Amanda Han brought it up. As i understand it, the government will soon let you roll over your stock proceeds tax free into purchase in areas deemed “opportunity zones”. If you hold for 10 years, you may be exempt from all capital gains taxes.
These designated Opporutnity Zones should be announced in the next 30-60 days.
