Does someone know what are those white pipes doing in the ground? Looks like it's a brand new house

Looks like a leach field (which is the same thing as a drain field for a septic system)

I've seen these put in for drain-fields when there has been a lot of tree roots.  These make it easier to put a root killer in the line so they remain clear.  It was necessary to do this for one of my rental properties a few years back.

All good comments, I think Charles and Dan were the warmest, IMO.

The leach field or laterals will be 4" and it appears you have 2", to connect as a clean out, picture an E shaped field, without additioanl clean outs it's hard to push that power roto into each line. The main cleanout should be 4" to the tank.

It also appears that there was alot of fill in that area, based on the apparent dropoff to the right. french drains could have been put in to hold down errosion and again, those could be cleanouts.

My last guess is that the place was built by some survivalist type who has an underground shelter and those are air vents that have not been capped yet! LOL

If not septic, then they could be either vent or clean-out for waste lines to the sewer system.

Home looks to be on a septic system, so my guess is that white pipe is related to the septic system.
