Bennington VT area investors?

Hi BP community!

I'm a West Coaster considering investing in Bennington, VT or the surrounding area (Albany, Troy, Saratoga, NY). I have family there and visit often so it seems like a decent 'long-distance' investment location from my perspective. Anyone have thoughts on the market in these areas?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Hello Amanda, did you buy 4 Plex?.how is the area for investment? I am from NY and willing to invest in Vermont. Bennington is a very good geographical location near NY.

@David Bahr I do invest in the region. Good things going on here but as with most areas it’s good to know the “pockets” you want to be in and the ones you want to stay away from.

Hey @Michael Schanzlin, I've been investing in Bennington the last two years so would love to talk to you if you're looking for connections in the area.  There are not a ton of local investors here, so great to see your interest.

I do multi-family buy and hold, cash flow investing.

@Bryce Cutler do you invest in the Albany area?  I've heard good things about Troy and Schenectady for growth!
