Your opinion on insurance for rentals

Kenny Ye
Posted

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to have the septic system of my rental property insured? Seems like it will be a big repair/replacement cost if it fails. Also, will it be possible to have my property insured for tenant damage (i.e, tenants who intentionally damage the property because they are being evicted)? If so, what kind of insurance do I need to look for? My Landlord Policy excludes both of the items above and I'm not sure if i need to switch to a different company or asked for a different product. Your 2 cents please. Thanks.
