Having contractors come by at the same time

I heard on a podcast a while back about having contractors come by at the same time to have them quote on a renovation project. I'm just wondering people's opinion on this idea.

I have 3 contractors coming this weekend, at different times and it just reminded me of that one guest who talked about having them all come at the same time. I can see some benefit but also some downsides to it as well.

Thanks

@Ryan Holden I like to schedule them so they see each other as one is coming and the other is going. This way you get to build a quick relationship but then they know they can’t be super high on their pricing because they know they are competing
