Private money from family

Fellow BP members,

Looking for some guidance from those who have done this before. I’d like to structure some deals with family members to provide the down payment amount as a loan with a repayment period of less than 5 years with a simple interest rate. Does anyone have any tips for this or have you found a better way of finding deals with family money? I’d like to keep it as simple as possible. Buying 2 family type property with buy and hold for rentals.
