Need Help Analyzing Deal...How to calculate (ARV)?
Currently looking at buying a duplex in Terre Haute, IN. I also plan on living in one unit and renting the other out. I already had contractors come out and estimate how much rehab costs would be. I need help calculating what the after repair value would be. There are no comparable properties that have recently sold in the area. Also my agent doesn't know how to figure It out. I would like to get a rough estimate myself without paying for a professional to come out and do an appraisal. Having the ARV is important to me so I can know how much I should make an offer for and spend on rehab. If anyone has an idea please let me know.
