Buying Property from Family

Hey All! So, I have a question about an upcoming purchase. A family member is selling me their home for what they owe on it. What would be the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to go about paying the home off and then transferring the home into my name? I'm a licensed agent in VA, the home is located in Missouri. Would a local RE agent be necessary? Thanks in advance.
