Foxxcon Wisconsin is Pivoting..
just read an article that said Foxconn is pivoting.. instead of heavy duty manufactoring and 13k jobs.. they are now talking about more R and D and about half the jobs or less.. I wonder how many developers speculated on the 13k workers.. big difference in product R and D will want different housing than assembly line workers.

Yep, almost spilled my coffee! I have been working in the corporate long enough to know that these things always change 5 times and never happen as originally planned. If I would have a dollar for every time I told an OOS investor not buy a overpriced run down rental in Racine... (we can call that the ORDRR Strategy lol)
The previous announcement was they fell short on their 2018 goal of hiring 280 people to make the tax incentive for last year. Woo said plan has not changed and I thought that was odd. No he says we can't produce TV's cost competitive with Wisconsin wages - no joke!
Milwaukee is a good story, with or without Foxconn, but it's risky to build an investment strategy based on one thing that is hoing to happen and hope for a home run. I am more with Buffet when it comes to good investments.
