Real Estate Agent License

Is there a way to know if an online real estate license course is reputable/accredited/accepted?  Also, if it is reputable, are there disadvantages to having a license from an online course versus having earned one from a traditional, classroom-setting?

You arent getting the license from the school you attend.  The school is a pre-req needed for you to be eligible to take the state exam.  The license will come from the states RE Commision.  Online vs in person is really your decision dependent upon your ability to learn and also your availability.  Im currently taking my courses online for Texas only due to the fact I cant attend in person.
