Has anybody thought about investing in real estate in Venezuela? Why or why not?

Replied

No... because the place is going through major political issues. I would understand ones thoughts on buying cheap property there with whats going on (I thought of this with stocks or commodities that are down there) but it could end up like what happened in Cuba, where the military takes over all property rights and you will have to wait 10-20 years with your property deed documentation to go back and reclaim it.

Thats a very possible issue in my eyes.

I honestly dont think an American could buy down there right now either.
