Interesting 1031 question
We own a parcel of land (owned 15+ years) that a developer wants to build an apartment complex on. How can I 1031 the land ownership into a 15% share of the entire project? I will use my attorney to do the deal, I just want to get my head around it before I go to him. I have done several 1031's but this one has me scratching my head.
By the way, this is a great forum and am sure that I will be here a bunch!
