Assignment Fees - Wholesaler In Boston MA

Chris Connor
Posted

Hi BP Community,

I was wondering if anyone had some advice regarding the price a wholesaler should charge for their assignment fee. Is there a formula people like to use, a percentage of the potential profit your buyer can make, or just a ballpark estimate based on the value of the property?

Thanks for your time and assistance!

There's no flat metric to it. Realistically some deals you'll walk away with $10-15k+/-. The way to best secure you will make a healthy fee is to make sure you get the property at the lowest price possible so when you are adding your fee, the investor is still making a lot of money from it.
