Seller put a two separate contracts on house
Just a quick question we put a contract on a house. A week later our realtor informs us that the seller (an older gentleman) entered into another contract and accepted earnest money a few days after signing the contract with us... please advise...

I am not an attorney, and you should definitely speak with an attorney in your area. You should be able to cloud the title with your contract. You could also sue to force the seller to perform on the contract or for damages depending on the contract. Because of this, having an attorney send a letter informing the seller what you intend to do if they do not perform on the contract can be quite effective.
