Using a real estate agent on a wholesale deal

I found a wholesale deal and my contractor who is also my realtor was able to negotiate the price down for me without me even asking him to do so.  I'm investing from out of state and he is my boots on the ground so I sent him to give me a quick rehab estimate.  Since this is a wholesale deal, is there a way for me to pay my realtor/contractor a negotiating fee that I can also use as a tax write off?  If so, what would something like that be called?  Thanks.
