Do not call list in Texas?

Question

How does one go about searching the do not call list? If violated they come with a pretty hefty fine, I’m looking to help people with distressed properties and don’t want to start off the convo on the wrong foot or violate any laws. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for respecting peoples privacy.  I don’t have a week that goes by where I don’t get voicemails or text message from investors wanting to by one of my properties. Lots of mailers come in too. I too am an investor and realize we all have to earn a living, but texting and calling is off limits in my opinion. Thank you again for your decision.

Your reputation will be better. Instead of royally pissing off potential clients and referrals, you avoid negative association or legal fees. Makes sense to me. You can't scale otherwise.

@Carter Anderson You can direct them to call you. I haven't been doing this long but when I send out letters I get a lot of calls back most of them are super mad at me like you I prefer the phone conversation so I turn the calls around most of the time. It's the only loophole I found.

My understanding of DNC is no selling products.  Nothing against offering to buy their stuff as far as I know.

The DNC list is a subscription. There is a cost to use it to scrub your list.

@Amy Aziz I plan on running a mailer campaign as well, but would like to talk to the people directly over the phone too as it's a more personal connection and easier for them.

@Kris L. To my understanding , here in Texas I would be selling my services so if they really wanted to pursue it they could use that caveat.I am not a lawyer either and if I am wrong, someone let me know!
