First Real Estate Investment

Posted
Hello All I currently own a home in Monroe, louisiana. It was a home me and my wife purchased for around 89000. We will be moving to Georgia soon and we want to rent the home once we move to Georgia. The home has 79,000 left on it. I am nervous because this is our time doing having a rental property. Any advice should we rent or sale. We have goals of purchasing land in Georgia and placing multi-family units on the land. All advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

@CHRISTOPHER CALDWELL the first thing you have to do is find out what the house would rent for. Without knowing the what your expenses will be and what your projected rent would be it would be hard to answer that question. I would do what josh said and start reading books, listening to podcasts, watching YouTube videos, and reading posts in BiggerPockets. Knowledge is the only thing that will ease your fear.
