1031 exchange in Kalamzoo
My wife and I recently relocated to Kalamazoo area. I currently do not have a job because due to the move and I am planning on doing realestate full time. We are selling our half of property that we have partner with my brother on to him. The property was a student rental. My wife would like to reinvest the money into rentals outside of the student area to avoid the high repair cost of renting to students. What would be good area to look for rentals in Kalamazoo/Portage?
What steps do I need to take to executive the 1031 exchange? Thank you in advance for the help.
