Learning Different Nuances in State Laws

I am just closing on my first deal out in Buffalo, NY and looking back on the whole thing I wish I had known more about the differences to expect going into this new market. Thought I'd ask the community to see if there is a nice resource for learning the small differences between different states when it comes to real estate transactions? Would have really helped save a bunch of unexpected conversations. Thanks!
