How to get out of a signed contract with your agent?

How do I properly get out of a signed contract with my agent, so I can use a better more aggressive and investor friendly one?

@Steven Mason, if the agent pushes back on this, ask to speak to their broker. This should be an easy contract to cancel.

Ask for a "Cancellation of Agreement Listing Contract/Buyer Agency". When I work with investors I do per property when you offer. That way you aren't bonded to anything but the property/Realtor.

I second @Mindy Jensen's response.

Most Realtors will let you out of the contract after a conversation and written notice (email or cancellation of agreement form).
