Ideas for Software That Helps You Invest More Efficiently?

Hi All,

My name is Matt, and I'm a software engineer full-time while investing in real estate on the side with my wife and son. As I have a little more time lately, I'm looking to build something that helps with real estate investing.

I have some ideas of things that would help me personally, but I wanted to open it up to others to share ideas around what would help you most as well. Then I'll do my best to implement the most popular ideas first and make the features available to anyone who'd like to use them.

These ideas can range anywhere from gathering data that helps find the best cities to invest in, to automating specific workflows, to screening tenants, to practice environments that help you become a better investor. No idea is too big or small - what would you ask for in an ideal world? If I can't implement the whole idea, maybe I can implement a part of it.

Also, just out of curiosity, what kinds of software do you currently use in your investing? Is there something they're not doing that you'd like to see? Is there a feature that's priced too high that would be really useful? I personally use Cozy for property management, Calendly for scheduling showings, and Google Calendar for tracking important dates.

NOTE: I'm not looking to compete with any software/calculators created by BiggerPockets. Don't let this impede your suggestions, but I figure any ideas related to improving BiggerPockets should go to their site admins.
