From Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada. Anyone In my area?

My wife and I have taken a lot of interest in real estate over the last 1-2 years. We have been in construction for nearly 8 years and have recently taken the leap and started our own construction business. With multiple new builds and a couple house flips under our belts we would like to add some flip and holds to our portfolio. Any one in our area with any insights or opportunities? We have an investor on board and are looking to dive in. Thank you for any input.

@Ryan Myers Hey Ryan, sorry man we’ve been incredibly busy lately. We took the leap this spring and purchased our first BRRRR. This house has been our side project as General Contracting and our staining and lacquering business has kept us busy. We are just wrapping up the renovation and have our first tenants moving in on the Oct 15th!

How about you? You were talking about the Prince Albert area? Did you find anything that interested you there? We’ve thought about PA but for us right now the Saskatoon area is closer.

its good to see some Saskatchewan people on Bigger Pockets! Been following and educating myself the past few months and its refreshing to see some faces close to home! I just purchased my first house hack and am looking into getting a BRRR under contract in the next few months with investors I have secured!

Hi Russ, much like everyone here I’m wanting the same, have been educating myself for years and want to dive deep into real estate investing a really build a portfolio of buy and holds.  I’m working full time as a supervisor for the city of Saskatoon, have a seasonal side wood working business and have been greatly involved in DIY everything when it comes to renovations.  I’m looking to build a solid team and manage the process, and currently looking at the Prince Albert market as it’s a lot easier to get into, as a builder have you considered there?  So many good sized lots available for a fraction of the cost in Saskatoon, but resale is a little more challenging I would think, let me know if you’d like to get together sometime
