Lubbock Texas Investing

Hello everyone, I have a lot of interest in starting a buy and hold portfolio in Lubbock. I have not yet started any investing but looking to in the very near future. I’m in Minnesota so yes I would be investing out of state. How has the market been and has there been any changes? I would also be looking for recommendations on resources out that direction. I’m not a paying bigger pockets member so I don’t think I can do private messages. Any info would be greatly appreciated. May also be looking for private or hard money lenders in that area.
