Analizeing a property

Hi newbie here.. please excuse my ignorance but is it possible to analyze a property without knowing the rehab cost could u possibly get a ball figure or would u have to know the total cost of rehab

 The rehab cost makes a big difference. That being said, there are some people who use a cost per square foot that assumes everything needs to be done. They use that worst case number for quick analysis. That number changes from market to market and has some risk. You mentioned you are newbie, so I would recommend trying to get a detailed estimate for rehab to reduce risk as you are starting out.
