Real Estate or Ecommerce?

Hi all,

How do you guys feel about Real Estate Investing as compared to Ecommerce (e.g Amazon FBA)? For those who have experience with both, which are you more comfortable with? I'm interested in both but feel that Real Estate is more tangible and would feel that I may be more comfortable with that. Any thoughts? I'd like to hear.

I agree with this. Amazon FBA they say, is the easiest to get money when you know the correct way to do it and the capital requirement is lesser compared with real estate. On the other hand, real estate requires bigger capital. It is considered as easy money although the money generation is slow. You'll generate cash flow with real estate specially during good days and during "rainy days", you'll build equity.

I've worked most of my career in real estate, but had several e-commerce related side hustles. They're completely different. E-commerce is nice, because you don't need much capital to get started, but it's a business that you need to be very active in. Real estate is great for passive income, but requires a lot of capital to get there (it doesn't have to be your capital, but it has to come from somewhere). I've known some resellers that use their e-commerce business to buy real estate.

The only thing that both of these industries really have in common, is that they both attract the "get rich quick" crowd. Hopefully that's not where this post is coming from. They are both legitimate industries that you can make a lot of money in, but you need to put in the work, and be willing to invest your capital.
